New Nexus 7 Release Date for U.K. Expected to be August 29



It has been over a week since the search engine giant unveiled their second generation Nexus 7. The device is available for sale in the US through various retailers, as well as Google Play Store. However, there is no official word from the company about the availability of the device in U.K. via both Google Play Store or other retailers. However, one overseas retailer, EBuyer, has leaked the expected launch date on Twitter.
According to Ebuyer, the expected launch date of the second generation Nexus 7 appears to be 29 August. If you are one of those lucky users who pre-ordered your device through Ebuyer, you should mark you calendars as will get your shiny new Nexus 7 on 29 August. The device is available for £199.99 for the 16GB model while the 32GB version is available for pre-order with a price tag of £239.99. There is no word about the LTE version of device for users living outside United States.
Another retailer, PC World, has listed the shipping date to be 13 September for all those users who will pre-order their device.
If you don’t know, the device features a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro Processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB RAM, 16/32GB onboard storage, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, 7 inch display boasting a resolution of 1900 x 1200.
It appears that UK users may see the new Nexus 7 popping up on Google Play Store as well very soon. If you don’t want to wait for the device to appear in Google Play Store, go to Ebuyer or PC World and pre-order your device.
