New Product to Solve Google Glass Horrible Battery Life

Google Glass has swept through media and the nation like a firestorm. Current owners of Google Glass have been testing out their device and getting all sorts of attention – even from states and businesses who want to have Glass banned.
As cutting edge as Google Glass may be, the one aspect that can ultimately hamstring its overall success is the terrible battery life. But hasn’t it always been this way with the first-generation of certain products?
Serial inventor Kevin Alan Tussy went straight to work, designing a battery solution immediately after he started using his Google Glass. His new product design is a patent-pending, battery-packed retainer strap.
3D renderings of the accessory have been released to the Glass Explorers (the first and only people who currently own them) last week, which can also be viewed at PWRglass.com. The response was immediate, with users eager to hand their money over to Tussy.
“It’s clear that Glass users need this solution,” said Tussy. “The design also allows you to charge the PWRglass strap and Glass simultaneously using one USB cable. We are using Lithium-Ion batteries that are roughly the size of the AAA batteries but they hold much more power. We are also exploring adding a memory card inside PWRglass for extended filming at concerts and sporting events.”
The only problem is that the product is still in development with no date set for availability. Tussy plans on taking pre-orders on PWRglass.com as soon as a ship date is known.
