Nowadays,
Sony’s upcoming ‘Honami’ device is always on the news. We again have
some leaked shots of Sony Xperia i1 Honami floating around online. These
images of Sony’s next flagship device were posted by a Vietnamese
Xperia fan club.
The
pictures show off the front and back of the device, with one shot
focusing on the camera settings on the screen. We get little more
detailed look at the camera lens which is marked “G-lens”. It seems the
device in picture is a prototype, because it has some ‘x’ marks beside
it, which might be placeholder for putting the megapixel info later.
We
get a peek at the Camera UI which confirms that the alleged ‘Honami’
Smartphone will feature a 20 megapixel camera. Some rumors also point
out that it is capable of recording videos at 4k resolution. Previous
reports also suggest that the flagship device from Sony will feature
interchangeable lenses.
Sony
Xperia i1 Honami, is supposed to feature a full HD resolution on a 5
inch screen, with triluminous display, OptiContrast and X-Reality Engine
proprietary technologies from Sony. It is also said to be powered by a
2.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 GPU and contain
2GB of RAM. Android 4.2.2 should be running on the device. Like some of
its other siblings such as Xperia Z, Xperia and Xperia ZR, Sony Honami
should also be water and dust resistant with IP57 certification.
This
alleged flagship device from Sony has picked up a lot of hype and
there’s lot of anticipation around it. The device is expected to be
launched at IFA Berlin on September 4.
